How it all started
It’s a ministry that was birthed when God called me in 1996. I was still a young man, ministering in another church and God called me and told me that I (God) called to minister my “Word of Faith”. The mandate was go and minister my “Word of Faith”. I never believed anything could happen, I tried to escape but things didn’t work.
I eventually obeyed and I believed God, slowly started teaching faith to people. And that’s how the ministry started, and Cyrus Rod Ministries was born. Dominion church on the other hand was started in 2001, still under Cyrus Rod Ministries.
Dominion Church
Our mandate is to minister the word of faith. It’s called Dominion because that’s what gave me as he taught me the word of FAITH, so that people may understand why they were created.
They were not created to do nothing, but rather to take dominion over the earth. And that’s an act of worship to God. Man cannot have dominion without faith in God.
Rod Foundation
Through the Cyrus Rod Ministries, we reach out to people through the Rod Foundation, and the target is to help children stay in school by supporting them with scholastic materials. As the Lord blesses us that’s how we reach out to them.
It’s a big project but we are trusting God. To help them stay in school we equip and mentor them, under the program called “U-TURN”, designed to target the young people to ‘father’ them other than mentoring.
We believe the marriage is easy!
The purpose is marriage; how to start one, how to enjoy it, build marriage on principles not on tactics. And after the success of that book, that’s when the show on Television started, and its coming to its fifth year.
